About me: I am a biodiversity and global change data scientist with expertise in spatial and statistical analysis, wildlife ecology, and conservation. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Montana. I am proficient in the analysis of ecological big data, from local to global scales, and have leveraged advanced tools for this purpose including hierarchical regression, Bayesian statistics, network inference, and occupancy modeling. I have coding experience in a multiple programs and have written and published software for ecological data acquisition using remote sensing. I have led large, multi-national collaborative groups in analyzing and publishing conservation data, and managed ecological projects in the United States, Tanzania, Madagascar, and Brazil. I am passionate about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the STEM, and have served on a variety of committees focused on increasing diversity and inclusion in ecology and conservation, and scientific research more broadly.
